Lessebo Paper has announced the appointment of Ebba Ingvarsson as Chair of the Paper Profile Steering Committee for 2026.
Ingvarsson currently serves as Key Account Manager and Communications Manager at Lessebo Paper. In her new role, she will contribute to the governance and strategic direction of Paper Profile, an international environmental product declaration (EPD) system developed by leading paper manufacturers.
“I am truly honoured by this appointment,” Ingvarsson said. “Paper Profile plays a crucial role in providing trustworthy environmental information, and I see strong potential to further develop the tool to meet the evolving needs of both regulators and the market.”
According to Ingvarsson, her focus will be on strengthening collaboration within the industry and ensuring that Paper Profile remains a relevant, accessible and reliable resource for decision-making related to environmental performance.
Paper Profile provides transparent and comparable information on the environmental attributes of paper products, supporting responsible sourcing and helping customers navigate growing regulatory and sustainability requirements across the paper, packaging and printing sectors.
Lessebo Paper has been a member of Paper Profile since 2022 and has been involved in communication and stakeholder engagement activities linked to the initiative. Prior to joining the program, the company completed preparatory work to align with Paper Profile’s environmental criteria.
Ingvarsson’s appointment comes as demand for standardized and credible environmental data continues to increase throughout the paper industry value chain.
Lessebo Paper is a Swedish producer of uncoated, wood-free paper for printing, design, packaging, and book applications, operating an integrated mill in Lessebo, Sweden.
