Metsä Board appoints Anssi Tammilehto as new CFO

Metsä Board has announced the appointment of Anssi Tammilehto as its new Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and member of the Corporate Leadership Team, effective no later than February 2, 2026.

Tammilehto holds a Master of Science in Economics and brings extensive financial leadership experience from Neste Corporation, where he has held several senior positions, including interim CFO and SVP of Strategy, M&A, and Investor Relations.

He will succeed Henri Sederholm, who is leaving the company after a long career with Metsä Group. Until Tammilehto assumes the role, Antti Kiljunen will act as interim CFO. Kiljunen has been part of Metsä Group since 2005, serving in multiple senior finance roles, including CFO of Metsä Fibre Oy.

With this appointment, Metsä Board’s Corporate Leadership Team will include Esa Kaikkonen (CEO), Minna Björkman (SVP, Containerboard, as of January 2026), Erja Hyrsky (SVP, Commercial Operations), Jussi Noponen (SVP, Production and Supply Chain), Laura Remes (SVP, Business Transformation), Anssi Tammilehto (CFO, as of February 2026), Camilla Wikström (SVP, HR), and Antti Kiljunen (interim CFO).
